MIDI synthesizers have memory that allows you to remember the compositions or songs you are performing. Thanks to the MIDI interface, you can transfer the contents of this memory to your computer and archive there as file (files). Archived file (files) can be sent back to the synthesizer. The MIDI_RS program was created to transfer this data. It works with the MIDI-RS232_COM converter or the MIDI-USB_Virtual_COM converter. The proper structure of SysEx packages is a condition for the correct transmission of data. The maximum data size can not exceed 1.44 MB. The value is consistent with the capabilities of devices offered by music equipment companies (the limitations of these devices is the 3.5-inch diskette capacity).
The attached MIDI_RS.zip file contains the MIDI_RS.eee file. The "eee" extension should be changed to "exe" after unpacking the archive. The program does not require installation.
